Hello! I am Iris Harper, an aspiring writer or wayward storyteller, as I prefer to put it. At present I am mainly dabbling in fantasy, but enjoy all kinds of genres and plan to try my hand in most of them, sooner or later. I live in a big city somewhere in the old world of Europe. Iris Harper is not really my name, but a nice pseudonym that fits to writing much better than what my parents have called me.
I love reading (big surprise), the smell of old books, animals, sports, spring and many other unrelated things. I am afraid of writing and crave to do it, and this small place in the internet is my "corner of accountability". This is where I regularly face and best my fear, and also offer my brain children for public scrutiny, evaluation and hopefully enjoyment.
This blog is very much a work in progress (and I don't mean this in just the obvious sense). I keep tinkering with it, changing widgets, styles, names and whatnot. So please don't get startled if I redecorate totally overnight *smile*. I will settle down, eventually.
